If there is one thing you see at every Adelphia wedding, it's a gorgeous custom cake. When your wedding is hosted at Adelphia, you can be sure that your cake will be a stunning centerpiece in the middle of one of our beautiful banquet rooms. And not only are Adelphia's wedding cakes some of the best you'll find anywhere, they're completely customizable.

When it's requested, Sara Fishman, Adelphia's Executive Pastry Chef, will personally meet with all potential clients and couples to help discuss and design what their dream wedding cake will look like. If the client is already sure of what they want, they can send Sara a photo, which she and her team will perfectly replicate.

Adelphia offers any wedding cake which the client wishes for their wedding. They will very rarely say no to a design, as it is their number-one goal to please every client and give them what they want for their special day. Additionally, they offer any size cake that is requested, from a small-tiered cake to one with many layers and extra tiers to become the focal point of the celebration.

Along with some extravagant wedding cakes, including a geode version, Adelphia has created a number of special cakes over the past few years. Sara has created wedding cakes in the shape of the bride's dress. She has stacked pillow-shaped wedding cakes, and she's had fun making themed cakes for the groom, including one that was in the shape of a guitar, one that was a Yeti cooler complete with “fish,” and others which featured various sports teams’ helmets, footballs, baseballs and so much more. She's even replicated a groom's favorite car as the design for their cake, and another couple had a replica of their dog designed on the cake.

Being located just across the bridge from Philadelphia, Sara has designed a number of Philly-themed cakes, including one of Lincoln Financial Field, and another of a plate with a cheesesteak and fries. Adelphia has designed single-tiered cakes which were designed to appear as if they were completely covered with pizza, burgers, spaghetti, hot dogs and so much more.

Adelphia offers a number of different options and flavors, including simplistic buttercream decorated cakes to elaborate fondant covered varieties. Covering in fondant provides more options for different textures and designs, as they appear much more polished and elegant. They offer an array of flavors, including vanilla, chocolate, red velvet and raspberry pound cake, as well as a to-die-for marbled pound cake with cannoli cream filling, which has been very popular this season.

What Our Wedding Guests Are Saying

Adelphia is one of the best wedding venues near me, hand's down! This has to be one of the top-rated wedding and banquet halls in the South Jersey and Philadelphia region. They have an affordable budget with a five-star serving and wedding planning staff. I had all the options, from DJ's to bands to a  disco dance floor. Several bars with an amazing food and beverage selection. I absolutely love this venue." - Drew D.
